One February 10 years ago, what is today considered one of the 10 best animal parks in the world opened its doors to the public. And in these years it has become a landmark and tourist attraction of the city and a new type of leisure: leisure “with a cause”.
In all this time the park has gone evolving and growing in quality and attractiveness. Extensions and improvements in practically all habitats so that the visit experience becomes increasingly excellent and to promote the animal welfare, one of the pillars of the project. All of this as an expression of the commitment to excellence that underlies its conceptualization, execution and management. In ten years too Multiple offspring of threatened species have been born within Preservation Programs in which the park is integrated. From the most emblematic ones such as leopards, gorillas, giraffes, bongos or lemurs, to the less known and no less threatened ones such as bongos or drills, and even some currently extinct in the wild such as the Mhorr gazelles.
But one of the most important aspects is that In 10 years BIOPARC has become a meeting point for several generations of Valencians, with the boys and girls who have grown up with this innovative project, their parents, grandparents and even great-grandparents who have shared this experience and have made it “theirs.” And, together, they have learned the natural behaviors of animals by commitment to the biodiversity of the planet while they were having fun.
10 years in which 5 million visitors from many different countries have had the opportunity to live an authentic and unique wild nature adventure. And their recommendations and opinions have contributed to positioning the Valencian park as an unmissable event in the city.
Promotion “with a cause”: every “+€1” will be used to save bats, the most emblematic species for Valencians.
And to make the entire society participate in this celebration, this month of in February they get going two special promotions with single price: €18+1 entry on weekends and from the 26th to the 28th and the annual pass B! at 38+1€, to enjoy all year round. And, as always, it is an initiative “with a cause” because through BIOPARC Foundation, every “+1€” will go to saving bats, the most emblematic species for Valencians.
