14 dogs from the 23rd AUPA-BIOPARC Parade will have a merry Christmas in their new home

El commitment to animal welfare It has been evident among the large audience. As an example, Red and Boy, two 4-year-old brothers who were thrown to their fate in the mountains and survived by taking care of each other. Thanks to a double adoption they will be able to continue living together. Some youngsters who, at three years old, have their whole lives ahead of them, like the smart and careful Aruba; Isabel that she was pregnant when they found her; or the energetic and obedient Lucio. Also the happy Turk Two years old will be able to enjoy his passion for a good sofa. Finally, it has been very exciting to know that the huge and adorable Ciccio He will fulfill his dream of having a house with a garden, since he was the only one who remained in the shelter after being rescued with his four brothers when they were thrown into the trash as two-week-old puppies.

Despite the good news and seeing how society is increasingly aware and empathetic in its relationship with animals, it is still necessary to hold these events because it is worth remembering that according to the Affinity Foundation, 500 dogs a day are picked up by shelters in Spain, 170.000 a year.
