This weekend the park shared with the animals and visitors the celebration of its 8th anniversary with various activities

A weekend full of activities for celebrate the 8th anniversary. This Saturday and Sunday, uninterruptedly from 10 a.m. to 17 p.m., activities were carried out in which both animals and visitors participated.

The animals with surprises in their enclosuresas the the elephants that on Saturday they were amazed by the festive decoration and a specially decorated delicious cake, or the inhabitants of the dry savanna, rhinos, zebras and ostriches, that this Sunday morning They discovered a “cake” that children with an annual pass B! they have prepared with all the details, even the giant candles.

The most curious have been able to learn better about the behavior of the different species thanks to the talks carried out by educators and caregivers and also in the successful educational exhibitions that offer a “live documentary”. The little ones have enjoyed workshops, face painting and family gymkhanas. And all those who have come to spend the day have tasted the birthday cake which, at snack time, has been offered to all visitors.

Today It will be the last day of this month of celebration that just ends in 29 the day that BIOPARC opened its doors to the public in 2008, since it was done in a leap year. Furthermore, it coincides with the fact that the small LLUNA, the baby giraffe, turns two months old.

And curiously, it was this 8th birthday weekend when BIOPARC Valencia managed to have 80.000 fans on the social network Facebook.

Also in this commemoration the commitment to the biodiversity of the planet with the opening from a piggy bank-funnel of the BIOPARC Foundation, which invites us to contribute to EVERYONE in that responsibility.
