The candidates have made the now traditional visit to the zoo as part of the official events prior to the final election. The jury was able to assess their behavior while they toured the different African habitats and listened to the explanations about the different animal species.
>Sunday, October 14, 2012. During today's session, Bioparc received the 26 candidates who will form the Court of Honor of Valencia, among which is the future Fallera Mayor and the Infantil.
At around 10am, Bioparc Valencia received the applicants accompanied by members of the Central Fallera Board as well as the judges in charge of evaluating the young and youngest girls. This activity is included in the official selection events.
The candidates, 13 for Fallera Mayor and 13 for Children, have formed 2 groups so that the Bioparc educators could adapt the content of the route to each age. In this meeting, the falleras have been able to see the park first-hand. However, many of them had already visited it, some because they have the Berde pass! (Bioparc annual pass) and others with their school.
After the tour of the facilities, they enjoyed the magnificent views of the savanna while having a drink and later attended the educational exhibition “The Cycle of Life” in the Bioparc Valencia amphitheater, which completed their visit. A live documentary, unique in the world, that recreates the survival strategies of different species of birds and mammals.
