In the year of its 10th anniversary, BIOPARC Valencia reaffirms itself among the 10 best animal parks in the world according to TripAdvisor.
BIOPARC Valencia has once again been ratified by TripAdvisor as one of the 10 best animal parks in the world thanks to the recommendations and ratings of tourists who have visited it. With only ten years of existence, the park makes unforgettable the experience of contemplating wild nature on a “journey” through the nearly 100.000 m2 of Africa in Valencia, placing it in a position of international recognition.

BIOPARC Valencia surprises visitors by faithfully recreating the most beautiful and threatened ecosystems of the African continent through zoodipping and “fall in love” with a proposal that goes beyond simple contemplation and that aims to objective to promote its conservation. Thus, a series of free activities throughout the day they help us learn more about endangered species and, among them, it is worth highlighting the exciting Educational Exhibition of Birds and Mammals “The Cycle of Life” which takes place in the park's amphitheater every day and is an authentic live documentary. Also “Good morning”, “Meeting with caregivers”, “Animal feeding” or “Explore” allow us to understand the risks that the different species housed in the park face in their natural environment and the actions for their preservation.
Contemplating the wildlife of species such as the BIG FIVE in a recreation of their habitat to promote their conservation enchants visitors.
And during the visit it is also possible to see “face to face” in their habitat the famous BIG FIVE, "big Five" that all those who travel to Africa they want to know: Leopard, Lion, Elephant, Rhinoceros and Buffalo, although regarding the latter, the Red Buffalo lives in BIOPARC. Although the name BIG FIVE historically comes from its value to trophy hunters on safari, today they have become important object of concern for conservationists and BIOPARC, once again, intends to call for its protection.
Additionally, on Saturdays and Sundays in September BIOdays, BIOPARC's “with a cause” promotion, offers a single ticket price of €16+€1. And with that +1 euro we are committed to the conservation of the two species of great primates that can be seen with their babies in the park, the gorilla Pepe and the chimpanzee Coco, with two conservation projects in situ through BIOPARC Foundation.
