A video starring its workers reminds us that “We are all animals, we are all Biodiversity”.

Since 2001, by decision of the UN General Assembly, May 22 is celebrated on International Biodiversity Day, in commemoration of the approval of the Convention on the Biological DiversityIn 1992.

This Sunday, May 22: recreational-training activities for families with children from 5 to 12 years old will help us value the richness of the closest Biodiversity.

This anniversary aims to spread the meaning and value of biological Diversity of both species and ecosystems and, at the same time, draw attention to the responsibility that all people have to safeguard this wealth of life.

The diversity of life on Earth is necessary for the well-being of current and future generations. Furthermore, vulnerable groups of people depend directly on these valuable and fragile ecosystems, so it is essential to facilitate sustainable development to eradicate extreme poverty and hunger.

On the other hand, global environmental protection preserves biodiversity, reduces the effects of climate change and generates important social and economic benefits, by reducing deforestation and soil degradation, increasing carbon stocks in forests , dry lands, grasslands and crop areas.
