The VCF Women's School celebrates the season at Bioparc, where the girls enjoyed a magnificent day in Africa without leaving Valencia. Both institutions joined in June 2011 in a global sports training program that works on the importance of challenges in life and human quality from the childhood stage.
Monday, June 18, 2012.- Approximately a year ago, BIOPARC Valencia and Valencia CF Femenino joined forces in the same collaboration project that inspired a new vision of improvement in sport and life in general.
Last Saturday, players from the different categories of Valencia CF Femenino gathered at Bioparc to celebrate the end of the 2011-2012 season.
During the day, athletes, coaches and managers enjoyed a pleasant day in Africa where they were congratulated for the season they played. They visited Bioparc for more than 3 hours, touring all the habitats of this zoological institution, and they stopped with special affection in the Savannah, where they saw the giraffe family again, since this species is the team's mascot.
This initiative was born from the symbolism of the giraffe as an animal that has the biggest heart of all and great vision due to its elongated neck, under the motto “A big heart, a big vision”. A proposal about the importance of feelings and emotions in people and in sport, about the ability to look high and build a horizon full of hope and joy for everyone.
The project arises from a series of values shared between both entities such as tolerance, respect, friendship and teamwork that inspire this “sports coaching”. A project for the integration of women, training in sports and transmission of self-improvement values.
Good temperatures accompanied the day and the culmination of the big day of the VCF Women took place in the Bioparc amphitheater, where the board congratulated the entire School for their great dedication and commitment in a season full of effort and dedication for Valencia CF.
