The Valencian financial entity Caixa Popular and the BIOPARC Foundation join forces with the aim of raising awareness in society about the importance of the rich biodiversity of our planet and promoting the conservation of species in danger of extinction.
The collaboration between both organizations will include initiatives focused on transfer the most threatened Valencian ecosystems to school classrooms, wetlands, in order to highlight the relevance they have for the survival of all living beings on Earth and extrapolate it to the need to protect the rest of the ecosystems.
Promote conservation and education projects.
Fernando G. Sitges, director of the BIOPARC Foundation, emphasized the importance of collaboration between different entities: “We are facing humanity's greatest challenge, with the climate crisis, the deterioration of nature and an unprecedented loss of biodiversity. . We must work together to address it each in their own area of action. From the BIOPARC Foundation we do it promoting conservation projects and, especially, educating society; for which the help of Caixa Popular is essential.”

La BIOPARC Foundation Its main objective is to protect and preserve nature through awareness, education and art, in parallel supporting international conservation programs for the most endangered species, both in BIOPARC from Fuengirola, Valencia and the Gijón Aquarium (ex situ), as in the original ecosystems of the different species (in situ).
For its part, Caixa Popular's purpose within its activities is the care and defense of the environment and the environment, as well as carrying out environmental awareness activities.
