This morning at BIOPARC Valencia a surprising letter was received that has sparked enormous enthusiasm and has been a source of pride for the entire park team. The Emissary of King Baltasar ceremoniously conveyed the request of His Majesty. the Three Wise Men of the East so that their dromedaries were housed in the park. The objective is that they have the best space and specialized care so that they can rest and regain strength after the long trip and exhausting day of delivering gifts to millions of boys and girls.
La responsibility and honor What constitutes such an illustrious visit has immediately mobilized the staff of BIOPARC Valencia and, at this moment, they are already working to make the necessary adaptations in the best area of the park, the baobab forest, where the elephant herd lives. Under the protection of such imposing trees, a special area is being prepared, delimited and prepared to be able to offer maximum well-being to dromedaries where they will even have access to the lake to cool off and hydrate. Straw has been collected to create comfortable and warm beds, of course a nutritious, balanced and comforting diet will be essential to ensure their rapid and optimal recovery. In this sense, taking into account their tastes, they have ordered dates from the Elche palm grove, carrots and different varieties of lettuce from the Valencian garden, exquisite navelina oranges, tasty esperiega variety apples from Rincón de Ademuz, restorative Manchego oats and fresh leaves of BIOPARC's collection of African acacias.
In a few days everything will be ready and suitable for you. On the night of January 5, after filling homes with magic and excitement, animals as special as the dromedaries of Their Majesties the Three Wise Men of the East were warmly received.
