IV EAZA Conservation Forum 2016

IV EAZA Conservation Forum 2016

This event is one of the most important internationally for the preservation of the natural environment and in this fourth edition it offers as main themes the efforts of protection in the Mediterranean region and maintenance programs Local biodiversity. It will also serve as a meeting point for experts from around the world to share their experiences with the common goal of stop environmental destruction and species extinction of our planet.

The conservation plan of the EAZA In recent times it has become a Single Approach Strategy (One Plan Approach) since the preservation of species can only be structured in a global way, contemplating the animals of a species in their entirety, both those bred in captivity and those that live in the wild.

La BIOPARC Foundation with participation in conservation projects in situ and the performances ex situ of the BIOPARC Fuengirola and BIOPARC Valencia parks are an example of this strategy of “Single Approach” for biodiversity conservation.
