In this third edition, the FICIV becomes a unique competition in the world after launching the first competition for children's feature films that exists.

This morning at BIOPARC the 3rd edition of the FICIV (Valencia International Children's Film Festival), with the assistance of the Consul of the guest country, Switzerland, Rocío Cibrán; the President of Opticians Optometrists of the Community, Vicente Roda; the actress Carlota Boza, the Programming Director, Carmen Chaves and Marcos Campos, the Director of the contest.

The Deputy Director of BIOPARC Valencia, Daniel Pons, as host of the event, has commented on the two main reasons for supporting this festival: the first because BIOPARC is also leisure, “leisure with a cause”, which is enjoyed and shared with the family, like children's cinema. And, secondly, for having opted to bring to Valencia a high quality project that is also an international benchmark.

The well-known child actress Charlotte Boza from the popular series "The One Coming" has attended this call and has revealed the 10 classified in the Stop Motion contest and the awarded and honored artists in this 2017 edition.

The international projection is growing, not only because it belongs to the Association of European Festivals, but because it has been able to create a unique children's festival in the world and the first competition for children's feature films that exists.

During the days of the festival, which will take place from October 23th to 29th, different activities will be carried out and two world premieres will be screened, Deep and La Bola Dorada, which will have the presence in Valencia of some of its protagonists.

BIOPARC, as its official headquarters, will offer its visitors sessions of the films in competition that can be seen at the park cinema.
