“Christmas Africa Expedition” begins today

In this edition of Africa Expedition Boys and girls from 5 to 12 years old will be able to get to know animal species such as lemurs, elephants, gorillas, vultures, warthogs, meerkats and eagles. Each day will be dedicated to a species and participants will become “caregiver assistants” for a day collaborating with BIOPARC technicians and educators on tasks such as preparation of the enclosures, The preparation of food diets or environmental enrichment routes. At the end of the day everyone will receive their high school diploma that credits them as “Animal experts.”

The BIOPARC vacation school allows the little ones to be in contact with nature and “learn by playing” the role that animals have in the survival of the Earth.

This already classic educational and recreational offer in the park is completed this year with the Village of the Jaimas, that offers to the family public free activities such as games and workshops in which children they will learn by playing things like animal behavior, making an environmentally responsible purchase, committing to their social environment through different NGOs or sharing toys with children who lack them.
