Rain Forest, SL. has been the winner of the tender through open procedure of the contract for the comprehensive management of the BioDome of the Andalusian Science Park.
The management teams of both institutions have signed the agreement for the management of this unique center around the planet's biodiversity, dedicated to the conservation of species, scientific research and environmental education.

Rain forest, pioneer in developing the concept of zoodipping in Europe, has more than 20 years of experience in the design, development and management of new generation animal parks. Its emblematic projects, the BIOPARC, have a geostrategic location in the tourist axis of the Mediterranean, located in the heart of the Costa del Sol and Levantina, in Fuengirola and Valencia, and are recognized among the best in the world. Both BIOPARC are the most visited animal parks in Andalusia and the Valencian Community, becoming references for society and a “must visit” for families and have positioned themselves as outstanding tourist attractions for these two regions. In this way, they establish a innovative environmental leisure product category, which has like objective to raise awareness about the need to preserve nature and, at the same time, it is integrated into urban tourism and complements sun and beach tourism.
El BioDome, which in just 18 months since its opening has already received more than 300.000 visits, represents a new and attractive challenge for Rain Forest. Both entities have as their main axis the planet biodiversity and they share the philosophy regarding the application of sustainable design for the recreation of habitats, specialized animal care in the hands of teams of biologists and veterinarians, and the integration of the natural landscape with vegetation in the recreated areas.
Currently, the technical know-how Rain Forest is internationally recognized and is developing projects such as the Casablanca Zoo in Morocco or the Zoom Torino in Italy. Besides, As the backbone of its conservationist vocation, it participates in prominent international conservation projects of species in especially threatened places through the BIOPARC Foundation.
