The Africa Expedition has begun in its “Easter” edition with the “complete” sign.
This Easter week the little ones are the protagonists. Holidays with warm temperatures and more hours of daylight allow the little ones, even on vacation, to enjoy a true nature experience at BIOPARC.

Yesterday the Africa Expedition began with the course “crocodile expert” and throughout the week children up to 12 years old will participate in others dedicated to potamoqueros, hyenas and chimpanzees. From 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon a series of Leisure and educational activities allow us to learn about and appreciate animal species that inhabit the BIOPARC with the help of caregivers and educators.. With the “full” sign before the holidays began, more than a hundred boys and girls chose to spend a special Easter, surrounded by nature and their favorite animals.
The oricteropo baby is a female, she is one month old and is now on public view.
The little ones of different animal species also enjoy this spring festival and some recently born babies can already be seen in their habitats. This is the case of "baby" oricteropus, She is already a month old, she is a female and she is in her burrow in the area that recreates the underground savannah. Also the red-fronted lemur that is not even 15 days old and that we see in Madagascar “attached” to the body of its mother. Others like the little giraffe Lluna or the EBO gorilla already run through their enclosures. And other species will surprise us with new births during this time.
BIOPARC offers us the opportunity to get closer to threatened wild nature and learn about some species that inhabit it. and that can only be seen in the Valencian park. But, in addition, it is a place of conservation for many of them, through the BIOPARC Foundation and with the breeding programs being, in some cases such as the oricteropos, the only center in Spain that has achieved several births of this “rare” species.
