This weekend marks the 6 weeks in which Valencians have been able to enjoy the 13+1 promotion through the media.
Friday, April 11, 2014. This weekend is the last in which you can enjoy of the offer that for 6 weeks Bioparc Valencia offered on the occasion of its 6th anniversary. With a single price on all tickets (€13 + €1) and by purchasing them in advance through the collaborating media, thousands of Valencians have come closer to the wildest nature.
This weekend before Easter, those who decide to travel to Africa without leaving Valencia will be able to see some of the park's new features:
- The largest of the world's gazelles and extinct in the wild, the striking Mhorr Gazelle. It is one of three subspecies of Dama gazelle that once lived in arid northern Africa. The Mhorr gazelle is extinct in the wild due to indiscriminate hunting. Currently there is only a population of 300 specimens, that lives in 10 European zoological institutions.
- The small Ebo, symbol of the fight for gorilla conservation and the first gorilla born in Valencia, who will be 1 and a half years old in a few days.
- Breeding red-fronted lemur, an primate easily recognizable due to its grayish back in males and orange in females, which was born a few days ago and whose species we can only see in Spain in Bioparc Valencia.
- Family bongos, with the offspring learning the behaviors of the species from the father or playing with the mother.
- Breeding drill born just a month ago suckling from her mother in the riverine forest of Equatorial Africa, alongside pelicans, pygmy hippos and sitatungas.
Lastly, remember the extension of Bioparc hours, since now you can visit from 10 a.m. to 20 hrs.
